“One day I was coming out of a store and this young man was coming in and he held the door opened for me. I said, ‘Thank you’ and he said ‘you’re welcome’ (he did not say…’no problem’)…my faith in young people has been restored!”
I’m sure some people don’t realize that they say, ‘no problem’ when someone thanks them. I think that is rude! Now it’s just me but when someone says ‘Thank You’ the proper response is ‘You’re Welcome’. This is what I was taught as a young person.
What do you think?
