The Summer Tour!!!
So finally I’m by myself and sitting in front of my computer. I haven’t really had a chance to reflect on the entire summer tour yet, so this may seem like a little bit of rambling at times. First of all, we made #40 on the country indicator charts this week!!! That was such an incredible feeling for us. We’ve been visiting every radio station from the west coast to the east coast and the song is really picking up some steam. Also, the video is done!!!! CMT and GAC have their copies and we will debut it here within the next week or two. It turned out amazing and we used a lot of pictures from everybody so thank you thank you thank you for sending pictures and video. Another amazing thing that’s happened is we’ve had two big articles in country weekly back to back. Infact, this week “Pencil Marks” is the free download. So go to countryweekly.com and talk about what you think of us crazy guys!!
I’ve gotten to see alot so far on this tour. We started with a very long mid-west run. We hit up Minnesota, Wisconsin, Ohio, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, and many other really flat states. I have to say, we stopped in a town called Shaboygan in Wisconsin and I was blown away. It’s right on Lake Michigan and it totally reminded me of the port towns out where I grew up. If you ever get a chance, go visit the great lakes area because you will see beautiful country and meet incredible people. We love the mid-west people. You guys through huge parties, hang till the wee hours and make just awesome friends. Thanks for all your support!!
Next we went to the West Coast. It was like a home coming for us because we got to play back in our hometowns. In fact, we did a 2 night concert in Adam and Ryan’s hometown and raised over $23,000 for the VFW. Incredible!! The crowds were huge and the people were insane. So much wine and beer I may never see straight again. We got to do a lot of radio up and down the coast including my hometown Spokane, WA which was incredible for me. Our Washington trip ended with us playing The Wolf radio station Kenny Chesney pre-concert at Qwest field. This stage was easily the biggest we had ever been on, and to play at the home of the Seahawks…. come on!! We were lovin it!! The only hard thing was as soon as we got off stage we had to catch a plane to Sacramento, CA to play with Pat Green. We were pumped about the show, but I know we missed a lot of autograph and picture opportunities with people. If we missed you, we are so sorry!! By the time we got to the airport, we only had 20 minutes before our plane left. Write to us if we missed you and maybe we can work something out. (wink wink) The Pat Green show was awesome!! We love California and that state is full of crazy country fans. I have a feeling a lot of you could party us under the table.
We eneded the tour of the west yesterday and we have one day off today. Tomorrow we start an east coast run with The Watkins Glen, NY NASCAR race being the final stop. This Sunday you can go on ESPN and watch us sing the National Anthem before the race. That’s going to be killer!!!
Anyway, there has been one thing we’ve heard in all the places we’ve been. “Your fans are crazy!!” “We had people calling into the station a week before you were even going to get here!!” “Your fans must really love the band.” Well you know what…. Damn right!!! Your support is the main tool that has brought us this far. TelluRide fans love music and they love having a great time. I know I always say it, but getting to meet so many of you this summer has been a truly humbling experience. Thank you!!
Make sure you go to countryweekly.com and download “Pencil Marks” and keep calling in to your radio stations. It’s working people!!!! Yes!!! Take care.
