This is a post from January 2010. My husband and I went to Florida for 3 years and no where could the restaurants match up to Ably Asian Cuisine…we loved the food but craved Ably Asian and their wonderful Sushi Bar and Chef! Love me some Sushi and Sashimi. Plus the customer services Rocks! CK, Ling and Jimmy keep our visits so pleasurable.
Today my husband and I had lunch at Ably Asian Cuisine and what a surprise we found – New on the menu, CK now has Sushi!!! Prepared by their very own Sushi Chef ! Oh my what a lunch we had – And In Jasper!
We had the Thai Calamari appetizer with spicy mayo (which is our very favorite). Then the Sushi Chef came over to our table and went over the Sushi menu with us and talked about how he will prepare our entrees. He recommended that we try a lunch plate and a combo choice platter so we could have a variety of the sushi, which of course we did.
We had the Spicy Tuna Roll and Shrimp Tempora Roll lunch plate and we had the Nigiri (see explanation below), which was the Salmon, White Fish, Tuna, Crab Stick and a Chicken Sweet Egg type dish each served on a small bed of rice. With our lunch came the soup, Miso, which is the most popular soup in Japanese cuisine.
OMGosh, this was Great! and so much food! There are so many Sushi dishes to try that we will be spending a great deal of time at Ably Asian Cuisine checking them all out. Aside from the great food and great customer service, the dishes are plentiful and the prices are very reasonable.
You should check out Ably Asian Cuisine the next time you are looking for a good place to eat. You will not be disappointed.

Nigiri sushi is a type of Japanese dish made with sushi rice and fresh fish. The sushi rice is hand formed into a small clump, and the fish is sliced and pressed on top of it. In some cases, nigiri sushi uses a small strip of toasted seaweed called nori to bind the whole mixture together, although this is not obligatory. Nigiri sushi is commonly found in sushi restaurants which have a reliable supply of high quality raw fish and well trained cooks.
Sashimi is raw fish sliced very thin and served with a variety of garnishes and sauces. Sushi is served with rice, and often appears wrapped in specially treated seaweed known as nori. Sashimi is an important element in Japanese cuisine, where it is often served at the beginning of a meal as a palate cleanser and appetizer. It is often compared to sushi, another popular Japanese dish, although the two are actually different.
