We are blessed here in Jasper. We get to enjoy all four seasons, just not a long winter, which I love, having grown up in the mid west. Our first day of spring was beautiful and warm! It makes us look forward to warmer weather and longer days. Here is a video that was taken on the evening of the first day of spring and then again on the 1st evening of the 2nd day of spring. Enjoy
The Easter Bunny has its origins in Pre-Christian fertility lore. The Hare and the Rabbit were the most fertile animals known and they served as symbols of new life during the Spring season.
The bunny, as an Easter symbol, seems to have its origins in Germany, where it was first mentioned in German writings in the 1500s. The first edible Easter bunnies were made in Germany during the early 1800s out of pastry and sugar.
The Easter Bunny was introduced to American folklore by the German settlers who arrived in the Pennsylvania Dutch country during the 1700s.
* 90 million chocolate Easter bunnies are made for Easter each year.
* 16 billion jelly beans are made for Easter.
HAVE A GREAT EASTER WEEKEND! Enjoy Beautiful North Georgia this weekend!

Southern Home Inspection Services, Inc. is locally owned and operated by Ken and Beth Compton. Ken and Beth live in Bent Tree and started Southern Home Inspection Services in 1997. We are going into our 11th year in the business and we have a ton of good clients and agents who refer us to their family, friends and their clients every day. We have 7 home inspectors on staff and they are located throughout the Metro Atlanta area. The inspectors do two inspections per day, one at 9am and one at 2pm, Monday through Saturday and sometimes on Sunday. We have an inspector who is our radon specialist and he also does our pool and hot tub inspections. The average inspection take about 3 hours, from start to finish, with the inspector printing the report on site, in color and including photos of issues found during the inspection. On resale property, the inspector is doing a visual inspection, looking for safety, function and structure and also for evidence of wood rot, termites, leaking insulated glass seals, etc. With New Construction, the inspector is doing a Code Compliance inspection, looking for building code violations, along with safety, function and structure. The report could be 15 to 20 pages and any issues found are pulled to the front to the summary page. The inspector also emails the report to the client and the agent once he gets home . The inspection is quoted per the features of the home and averages about $350.00. Please check out our web site at www.weinspect4u.com for more information.
