So many people tend to ‘look the other way’. They don’t want to know what goes on in animal shelters and what goes on is very sad…Don’t get a pet only to decide you don’t want it or it’s too much trouble to deal with. Pets are like family. You shouldn’t just discard them. Don’t think that taking your pet, that you no longer want, to the shelter is going to get them adopted…because most of the time it doesn’t and then, you just don’t want to think about what happens to the ones who don’t get adopted…
If you have a pet that you’re not planning to breed, then please, have them neutered or spayed. It’s the most responsible thing you can do!
Georgia Animal Project’s mission is to reduce animal suffering and confront companion-animal overpopulation through effective education programs and by offering high quality, low-cost spay and neuter directly to the public at cost.
