It’s Never Too Early To Start Thinking About This Year’s 38th Annual Georgia Marble Festival!!!
Always the first Full Weekend In October | This Year October 6-7, 2018
Lots of fun things to do this first full weekend in October so if you’re coming from out of town and you want to enjoy both days, schedule your hotel room at the Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham right here in Jasper. Rooms will go fast so reserve today. There is also The Woodbridge Inn Bed & Breakfast right off of Main Street for overnight accommodations as well as lunch and dinner.
One of the Big Early Morning things to do is to Run/Walk in the 5K Road Race on Saturday Morning, October 6. The race starts at 8 am sharp. There is also the 1 Mile Run at 9 am. The Road Race is sponsored by the Jasper United Methodist Woman. Proceeds go to fund the ministries of the Dorcas Circle. Click Here for more details on the Jasper United Methodist Church. The Parade will begin at 10 am on Saturday morning on Main Street. Get there early so you can choose your spot to watch the parade start with a beautiful opening statement courtesy of Polycor Georgia Marble and the roar of motorcycles, local businesses, civic organizations, ball teams and various children’s groups work on their floats and routines for weeks prior to this festival opener.

All parade applications must be completed and returned with $20 entry fee to the Chamber office no later than Friday, September 28, 2018. Entry fee is $25 if the application is received after the deadline.
