Many years ago, I lived in Denham Springs Louisiana and after I moved to North Georgia, would travel back often to see family and friends. It really hits home to see all this devastation from the rain and flooding of so many rivers this weekend.
They are saying this is flooding of historic proportions and it is devastating much of south Louisiana http://www.theadvocate.com/baton_rouge/news/weather_traffic/article_fc9d7626-6247-11e6-bf4b-0bcab2db1857.html
This is so very sad for all the people and businesses in south Louisiana. As I’m seeing pictures that people are posting on Facebook, I’m saddened by what the people in Southern Louisiana are experiencing right now. Almost reminds me of what happened in New Orleans in 2005.
Please take a minute to say a prayer that all will be well for this part of our country.
If you’re on Facebook, check out photos that Becca has posted on her page, August 2016 Flooding she lives right in Denham Springs and is a good friend of my daughter, Lori Barlaw and she is right in the middle of where this is happening. Prayers to you, your family and friends Becca.
