So we took a beautiful drive north to Blue Ridge!
But before heading north, we dropped Miss Sadie at the office so she had room to roam, stopped at the UPS store to mail my nephew in Indiana a cell phone as his had a badly cracked screen and we had an extra cell to give and we stopped at the Home Depot to handle a quick transaction. We saw our good friend Robin but she was dealing with customers, showing them the new log cabin shed, which is fabulous, so we didn’t get a chance to say Hi. So Hi Robin!
Hubbs and I then headed north to Blue Ridge for lunch and a little shopping for that special piece of wall art for our bathroom. Plus it worked for us to get in some much needed steps to meet our goal of 10,000 steps per day…(which I have to say, I met mine today!)
We had lunch at Blue Ridge Brewery, enjoying appetizers, great sandwiches and some awesome, cold beer. Then we went shopping, to walk off our lunch and find the right piece of wall art.
We went into so many stores looking for that unique piece and were about to give up and head home when we stopped in the Asmyca Home Arts store and found it! They have so many beautiful, unique handmade metal sculpture pieces and it’s nice to have an art piece that is unique and no one else has.
We also found a beautiful piece for our dining room table and an awesome piece for our cabin guest bedroom. All made from the finest metal.
We enjoyed our afternoon in Blue Ridge and were so anxious to get home and put our/out our new pieces of art.
If you’re in historic downtown Blue Ridge for eating and shopping, be sure to stop in at Asmyca Home Arts and preview their Fine Metal Hearth & Home Accessories. You’ll surely find the piece that will look great in your home!
