Kirby Mitchell, a friend whom I’ve known for the past 3o years or so. I met him back in the early 80’s and he was just a little boy. As time went on, I lost track of this little boy who had grown into a young man. Well, Facebook brought us back together and we became friends on Facebook and started following each other. We stayed up to date on what was going on and would comment and like each other’s posts.
Well, this past summer I was reading one of his posts and he had gone to the ER and was admitted into the hospital with terrible stomach pains. He was missing work from his new job and hoping that his pain was from appendicitis and that he could get it taken care of and back to work. He’d only been at his new job a very short time and his insurance had not gone into effect so being out and missing work was one thing and being in the hospital only added to the expense. (Read more about his ordeal)
But it wasn’t going to be easy. After tests and a surgical procedures, he was diagnosed with Colon Cancer. If you’ve ever had a family member or friend with cancer, you know how horrible that disease is and it’s been horrible for Kirby and his family.
In order to help bring in funds for he and his family, Kirby began making custom Paracord Dreamcatchers, bracelets, key chains and many other things. He says if it can be made out of Paracord, he can make it! His Dreamcatchers are $35, bracelets are $15 and key chains are $15 plus the shipping. All Custom Made for the customer https://www.facebook.com/KirbysParacordCreations
So I’m helping out with a Drawing to help get Kirby some funds to help him and his family!
