The hummingbird shows up in North Georgia around the middle of March and are usually gone by mid November for their long trip south to Central & South America.

We are so sad to hear that actress, Elizabeth Taylor, died on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 in Los Angeles of congestive heart failure. She was 79.
Many remember Ms. Taylor as a big movie star and her many romances and husbands. It is said she was married 8 times to 7 men…She was very beautiful to the very end and we will all miss this beautiful Icon!

My sister Sheila and her husband live in Salem, Indiana and this evening she sent me this photo of a hail storm that went through their town. This is the picture after the storm and yes, those are golf size hail in the yard!
This is what she said: Here’s what we got a few moments ago, lasted about 10 minutes. Now the sun is out and it’s just as pretty as ya please.
It’s just amazing how quickly something like this can come up – without any warning! and then afterwards, it’s just as pretty as you please…
